ContentPaul Sacher thanks Bohuslav Martinů for his letter from Nice.
He is pleased that BM is considering composing the cantata "Gilgamesh" [EPOS ON GILGAMES] into Gilgamesh. Of course, a string orchestra is not a requirement; it can easily be supplemented with noisier instruments. However, the organ in the music hall [of the Basel Chamber Orchestra] is in poor condition and it would be better not to count on it.
PS quotes the dedication of the CONCERTA DA CAMERA. The piece is dedicated to him and the BKO.
PS [and Maja Sacher] were happy to have BM [and Charlotta Martinů] visit them in Schöneberg. They only regretted that the visit was so short.
