ContentPaul Sacher thanks Bohuslav Martinů for his letter of 2 July. He and Maja Sacher are going to America in the autumn. They will be in New York in the second half of September and expect to meet BM.
PS received a copy of the score of CONCERTANT SYMPHONY [No. 2] from Boosey & Hawkes. The publishers were eventually willing to forward the orchestral material to Sacher.
PS is delighted with the success of THE BRIDGE. He hopes BM will show him her new score in New York in September.
