ContentPaul Sacher thanks Bohuslav Martinů for his letter of 27.11. PS has not yet received an English translation of JULIETTA, but Karel Šebánek promised him one. Mr Jelinek is no longer in Switzerland.
There are no complete editions of works by Domenico Scarlatti and Arcangelo Corelli. PS encloses a list of works available for purchase in Switzerland. BM can contact American university libraries. If he is unsuccessful, he should write to Sacher asking which works he is specifically interested in and PS will send them to him.
It seems that an English edition of the Epic of Gilgamesh is not available in Europe. There should be a better chance in America. PS gives the bibliographical details of the only English edition: the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamish, Stephen Langdon, Pennsylvania University Press. It is not certain whether Oxford University Press will be able to deliver Sacher's book. BM is advised to contact an American publisher, either directly or through his university library.
