Content and physical description
ContentPaul Sacher informs Bohuslav Martinů that he has received the manuscript score of CONCERTA GROSSA from Vienna. He was very surprised and thanks the recipient for this gift. He leafed through the manuscript and noticed the corrections BM mentioned in the last sentence. They were written in ink and in an unknown hand. PS lists the changes. Does the addressee not regret that the score will be published in this simplified version?
PS thanks for the postcard from Mont-Saint-Léger. It is a pity that the addressee could not accompany [Maja Sacher].
If BM meets Henry Barraud, he is to remind him that PS would like to perform a DOUBLE CONCERT with the "orchestre national" [Orchestre national de la Radiodiffusion française]. HB was previously interested in performing for Radiodiffusion française but apparently no longer envisages doing so.
PS [and MS] were delighted with the addressee's visit to Schoenberg. PS wishes him a pleasant stay in Paris and a happy trip to New York. PS and MS greet the addressee and Charlotte Martinů.
