ContentPaul Sacher thanks Bohuslav Martinů for his letter of 11.10.
He learned of the addressee's accident from Charlotte Martinů and wishes him a speedy recovery.
The publishers Boosey & Hawkes have written to Sacher saying that they have sent him the score of the 2nd and 3rd movements of TOCCATA E DUE CANZONI. They will have the material ready by the end of the month and will also deliver it to Sacher.
Will BM be able to make the corrections? If not, he is to inform Sacher in good time and arrange for proofreading in Basel. The material should be sent as soon as possible; the Basel Chamber Orchestra starts rehearsals on 2 December and at least four weeks should be set aside for delivery.
PS made a proposal for a financial settlement between him, BM and B&H. He said B&H should make the material available free of charge. BM should confirm to them that he has agreed this with PS.
