Content and physical description
ContentPaul Sacher thanks Bohuslav Martinů for his letter of 10.11. He is glad that the lost luggage has reached BM and that some of his manuscripts, including the DVOJKONCERT material, have been found.
BM is to contact the bank each month, although Sacher may not be allowed further payments.
PS encloses the programme of the Bern concert [DVOJKONCERT] which was a great success. He also sends translations of criticisms concerning the DVOJKONCERT.
The situation regarding CONCERTA GROSSA and the Universal Edition is complicated. BM wrote to Sacher on 17 Oct that he would send him the score and UE can request material from Paris from Louis Wauthier. So in the end it is the other way round: LW sends the score to UE and BM has the material. So BM sends him the material as soon as PS tells him that the score has arrived at UE. PS makes sure that he understands the plan.
He is glad they have news of Charlotte Martin's parents, he has forwarded the letter to them.
He is curious about BM's intended cantata.
