Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů is pleased that a date [for the radio concert with the performance of the TWO-CONCERTS] has been found that suits Paul Sacher.
He appeals to the PS on behalf of the SMT [Triton?] committee about the violin concerto by Henri Martelli - the PS is to perform it instead of a piece by Jean Françaix or Darius Milhaud; its performance can no longer be postponed or postponed. Robert Soëtens will be the soloist. BM for its part recommends the piece.
The proposed programme would include works by Willy Burkhard and HM in the first part, works by Igor Stravinsky and BM in the second part.
The score is currently being broken down for material, but a piano extract is immediately available to Sacher. PS is to write to the sender or directly to Martelli.
BM thanks him for his letter [regarding CONCERTA GROSSA, see ID 2800], will reply soon and also write to Universal Edition.
They [with Charlotte Martel] will be glad to see PS in Paris and hear the DOUBLE CONCERT again.
