Content and physical description
ContentBefore the premiere of the "symphony" [RHAPSODIE], Bohuslav Martinů asks Václav Talich to correct errors in the parts according to the score so that the material can be unified and ready for printing. He stresses this because he has recently had problems with the printing of the SMITH QUINTET, where there were four different versions from four ensembles. Ernest Ansermet has also written to him about this symphony - he will be giving it in Prague on 12 March. After BM sent the EA the score, he discovered that there was an error in the final chord - he had written the correct version. Finally, VT still asks to borrow the orchestral material and score (of the symphony) for the Paris performance and for printing. He gives his Paris address.
