ContentRequest B. Martinů's request for a fee increase (see LVII. B/44) is unclear to the Directorate. The composer is not entitled to fees. None of his works are in the repertoire at this time, so he receives no payments. In the event of a future performance of one of Martinů's works, it is not possible to increase the royalty rate, as up to now he has always received the highest possible rates, i.e. 10% for full-length works and 5% for one-act works.
