Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů heard about Václav Talich's successes with the [Czech Chamber] Orchestra and also about the fact that he was banished from the National Theatre again - no one can understand that. He regrets that VT could not come when the time was right. People know him from recordings and admire him. He would be extremely happy to see JULIETTA with VT once more. He would like to help him in some way, use his influence. He had considerable success with SYMPHONY No. 5, met Arturo Toscanini and he is now interested in his work, especially Juliette. BM wants to write a grand opera, but only on the condition that VT does it.
