Content and physical description
ContentHe has almost the entire final version of the libretto ready. He would like to revise Manolio's statement on Mount St. Elias. The music must not be reminiscent of old dramatic opera, but bring in new forms of modern opera. He is shortening the dialogue. He asks for the text of the hymn "Lord, Lord, save thy people" in Greek, to use really the one Kazantzakis had in mind. He asks if Kazantzakis knows any choreographer, director or actor who could check the libretto for him.
