Content and physical description
ContentBM regrets that he was unable to meet Herben in person and talk to him about the situation at the National Theatre and the relationship of young people to the theatre and its management. He could have shared with him his experience of performing The Spalice. He does not want Herben to stand up directly for his objections, but to take an interest in them and try to do something about the state of affairs (through the Czech Word). He sent an article to Prague that Herben might be interested in. It should appear in Přítomnost. He gives his Paris address. At the end he adds information about performances of his compositions (Partita for string orchestra, Sonata for two violins and piano) abroad (Boston Philharmonic under S. Koussevitzky, Venice Festival of Modern Music, The Sonata Players).
