Content and physical description
ContentMarie Martinů tells Jan Zrzavý the news from B. [Bohuslav Martinů] dated 21 November 1941. [Alén] Diviš has finally made it from Africa to New York and is now in their company. He is well. BM sees little of him, he is living outside N. Y., where he will probably stay over the winter. BM gave his first big concert in Boston with great success [Nov. 14, 1941, CONCERTO GROSSO for chamber orchestra, H. 263]. He also sent a photograph of himself with [Emanuel] Ondříček. It is probably the last letter that came from him, because the last letter from MM was returned.
