Content and physical description
ContentErnst Hartmann wrote to Hans Erismann that Bohuslav Martinů had offered the Zurich Municipal Theatre the work [Greek Passions], so they could expect proposals from Karl H. Krahl. Given the situation, Erismann thought that someone else should be commissioned to make the arrangements. He does not have a very good opinion of KHK and mentions its bad actions, e.g. when engaging singers. He expects that this will lead to problems. He goes on to describe what he thinks should be redesigned and changed in the opera, and he will talk about it with BM in October. Dr. Willi Schuh is seriously ill and is in the hospital after his second operation. Alfred Schlee is to inform Hartmann about this as well.
