Content and physical description
ContentHe has already announced that he will not be coming home, but he has not yet received a reply. He received several warning letters from friends in Bohemia. He thinks he will never see his brother again. He invited his sister to stay with him. Neither Munch nor Fournier will go (he does not say where) because of health complications. Rudy [Firkušný] wrote to him from Zurich, but at the last minute, they did not meet. Asks if FR has heard from Rudy about the concert manuscripts. He often hears his compositions on the radio. They will probably go to France for the holidays and then back to Nice in the fall. They'll probably stay here until July. He is working on the opera [Greek Passions II?], the repairs are wearing him out, but hopefully he will finish it. He's still going for treatment, but it's not helping. They're working in the garden too, it's hot.
