ContentBM thanks for the letter, book and reports. He would like to know what kind of pianist Margrit Weber is, as he has received a commission from her for a CONCERT FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA No. 5 (FANTASIA CONCERTANTE). BM will be happy to work on the piece, the commission is well paid and he has already finished all the operas, so he would have nothing to do anyway.
He writes about problems with passports. He has begun work on PARABOLES for Ch[arles] Munch, which he finds in a book by Saint-Exupéry [Citadel].
It is going well with London, then it could be given in Zurich [?]. Paul [Sacher] is premiering EPOS OF GILGAMES in January [1958], BM writes that they will definitely come to Basel. He sends his best regards and leaves space for Charlotte to write.

Charlotta Martinů thanks Charlotta Reber for the blue costume, which suits her very well. They are very upset by the news about Mr Aubussiere. She greets the boys and the parish priest [?].
