The Rhythmic Etudes have a good chance of being sold. The Little Serenades, on the other hand, although masterfully composed, are unpractical as an item for publishing. On the other hand, they are so nice that they would like to publish them, even though, given the costs, it would be a sacrifice. Consequently, they suggest that he accommodate to their conditions so that he has a share of the revenues and, in the case of success, makes a profit. They propose 1,200 francs for the two works, the same share as in the case of the previous works, and kindly ask him to understand the economic aspect of this proposal.
