ContentThey see that Bohuslav Martinů objects to the calculation of authorial corrections. They have verified the matter once more and inform him that they intend to desist from the burden of these corrections, when in fact changes were made as against the autograph, which was supposed to be in clean condition. They send him an invoice for the costs for corrections. They thank him for informing them that he has finished a new STRING QUINTET, yet unfortunately they cannot be interested in it now. At the present time, they have so many obligations and duties that they have to reject new works. They repeat that they really regret it.
