ContentIn the letter they have not received, Bohuslav Martinů wrote as follows: As regards the accounting of corrections, the information dating from 28 August surprised him very much and he cannot accept the deduction for authorial corrections. Under the contract, they have undertaken to account him for everything but they have no right to pay it from his fees. They were not significant modifications, but standard improvements. They should amend it and send the remaining sum to Polička. Further correspondence should be sent to him in Paris. He has finished a STRING QUINTET; they should inform him whether they are interested.
