Content and physical description
ContentHe would like Hoffmann himself to undertake the translation (Three Wishes); BM's journey to Berlin involves difficulties; Act II will be completed during March and BM will send a piano extract; he sends the score of The Tempest, 'I think that performing it in Germany would greatly facilitate my position for the opera'; he asks Hoffmann to recommend it to a conductor ('Bruno Walter, Klemperer?"); if he can't, to pass it on to H. Burkard, who might also place it; BM sends American reviews and a list of works performed abroad; orchestral materials for The Tempest are twofold, one in the CF and the other in BM's possession; in the case of performance, it is necessary to fix a date in advance, as Talich wants to perform The Tempest "in Brussels and Stockholm" and BM hopes to perform it "here".
