Content and physical description
Content- the writer thanks for the letter and agrees to the addressees' conditions, except for one, which is not very important - copies of violin parts (...)
- in any case, he will send the orchestral score and the piano score - with the two violin parts - on the due date (15 December) - he may be able to send the first and second movements earlier (...) ;
- as regards the small orchestra, he suggested it to the addressee because such a solution might facilitate the performance of the work in other cities - not everywhere a large orchestra is available ; and also because, given the form and genre, it is preferable that what the solo violin plays - which is most important - should not be drowned out when the tutti play ;
- the writer agrees that the solo violin parts should be expressive and brilliant ;
- let the addressees send the fee after they have received the manuscript ;
- the writer leaves Paris for Nice (before 16.11.) - peace of mind.
