ContentPaul Sacher thanks Miloš Šafránek for his letter of 1 February and for his first study of Bohuslav Martinů, which was printed in The Musical Quarterly. PS has read it with interest and finds it excellent.
The Double Concerto was premiered in Basel, not Geneva. The information can be found on the sheet "20 Jahre BKO" which PS encloses.
He also sends several newspaper cuttings dealing with the concert of 21.1. at which TOCCATA E DUE CANZONI was premiered.
The photographs that PS can provide to the addressee for the Czech edition of BM's biography are not good. One shows a view of the Schoenberg House, the other shows PS in rehearsal. The photographs of the orchestras are meaningless - PS does not have a single suitable photograph with the Basel Chamber Orchestra.
PS looks forward to getting to know the addressee during his stay in Prague.
