Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů writes to Charlotte Martinů that she should rest more and not overwork herself. He mentions that Frank [Rybka] is full of energy and is planning many trips, for example to Canada, but BM wants to keep calm. They have had problems with mosquitoes but the situation is improving, Doris [Rybka] has helped him with that. On Sunday they are going to a party at [Grigori] Piatigorsky's. They also went to see Lake Champlain from the other side, across from Barrington. The weather is cool but pleasant. Plans a trip to Pittsfield to see a lawyer. He hasn't decided about Tanglewood yet, it depends on FR, if he goes to NY he will take BM with him by car. BM would like to see [Arthur] Honegger and [Sergei] Koussevitzky there, for the [SYMPHONY #1] recording. He receives no letters from New York or Prague.
