Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů expresses his joy at the approaching end of his separation from Charlotte Martinů. He has spent almost a whole day at the dentist, and hopes it will be over soon, perhaps on Saturday. Other than the dentist, he is doing nothing else, but he hopes that this will not delay his return to ChM. He has already paid 1,500 CZK for the teeth, which is a large sum for him, but he considers the amount to be low considering the extent of the work. He sleeps better at Père Zaza's [Jan Zrzavy] than at [Stanislav] Novak's, it is quieter there. He met [Jaromír] Špáček, who has returned and is leaving for Geneva in two days. [Jan] Zrzavý has an exhibition on Saturday. Tomorrow BM plans to visit [Paul] Brandl.
