Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů misses Charlotte Martinů. He and his mother [Karolina Martinů] will go to Pardubice to perform SERENADES. He plans to leave for Prague on 20 [September] and wants to start composing. The PASTORELS are to be handed over to [Jean] Leduc, explaining that BM is away and will return around 10 October. He mentions the high costs involved in sending the works and a visit to Père Zazy [Jan Zrzavy], with whom he would like to stay in Prague. He does not feel comfortable with Novák, perhaps [Jaromír] Špaček is counting on him. In Brittany without success (?). He expresses that he is not himself without Charlotte and misses her. Sends greetings from [Jan] Jílek and Legionnaire [Václav Karel Rippel] and asks if Charlotte plays piano with Colette and Ginette.
