ContentUniversal Edition assumes that Friedrich Reininger is now busy putting together programmes for the coming season, and therefore recommends to him some works which have already been performed with great success in many cities and should be performed in Linz as well. Among the works mentioned is Martinů's CONCERTO GROSSO, which is described as "a 14-minute thrilling, spirited and rhythmically fascinating work that can captivate a wide audience despite the highest musical demands."
