Content and physical description
ContentUniversal Edition thanks Philipp Wüst for sending the City Theatre Orchestra's program for the upcoming winter concerts. However, it was with regret that, after studying it, they discovered that none of the successful new works had been included, including, for example, the Martinů CONCERTO GROSSO. This 14-minute spirited and rhythmically fascinating piece can captivate a wide audience despite its supreme musical demands. UE would like to receive a commission from PW to review the score. Perhaps the work could then still be included in the winter programme (if not this year, at least next year, 1952/53).
