ContentUniversal Edition agreed with Rudolf Mengelberg earlier this year about the purchase of some important works from their catalogue. UE calculated 3 particularly important works for RM, including Martinů's CONCERTO GROSSO (for 300 hfl [Dutch guilders]). The prices quoted are for the purchase of performance material with the right to perform the work in all his performances in Amsterdam. UE attaches a draft contract. At the special request of RM, UE would possibly be willing to include a performance in Schevening in the contract without charging a special fee.
