ContentUniversal Edition has learned from the London-based Boosey & Hawkes that Luzac & Co Ltd [the recipient] now owns the copyright to the English translation of Campbell Thompson's EPOS OF GILGAMES, which Bohuslav Martinů adapted for his cantata for orchestra and chorus. As this work will now pass to their publishing house [UE], they would like to acquire all rights (musical setting, including the right to print, public performance and mechanical reproduction) to this translation for the sum of £10.10.0., which the recipient billed to B&H two years ago. UE asks for a contract regarding this matter. UE will subsequently transfer the said amount.
