Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů recalls his time together with Vlasta Hálková [later married to Kubes] in Paris. It's raining in Paris now, but everything is green and it was a beautiful day. The music season is beginning, Stravinsky and Honegger and others are playing, the Russian Ballet is coming, the Swedish Ballet, and also [Rafael] Kubelík. BM met many painters like [Pablo] Picasso, [Juan] Gris and [André] Derain. He will also be introduced to [Igor] Stravinsky, who is coming in May. BM will not go to Prague because he has no money for the trip. Vlasta Hálková might go to the Martinů Theatre in Prague for the premiere of [the ballet ISTAR]. She is supposed to go to worship instead of BM and take floral gifts. She has no other girl in Paris, none of them laughs like VH. He looks forward to VH's writing.
