Refers to a letter dated 17 June 1949 [UE 1948-06-17] in which a representative of the Concertgebouw Amsterdam states that the performance [of CONCERTO GROSSO] will not take place until 24 August [1948] in Edinburgh, yet they have returned a signed voucher for the performance of the work in Scheveningen on 24 August [1948]. Universal Edition asks for clarification of the situation so that they know what will be performed where and when.
