Content and physical description
ContentMH is approaching Serkin on the advice of Mrs Charlotte Martin as he is seeking materials for a planned biography on BM. He learns that Martinů wrote a piano sonata for Serkin and that Serkin played it for him when he was with him (BM) in Schoenberg. Henderson would be very grateful if Serkin would provide him with any documents or materials regarding the circumstances of this visit. He would also be very pleased if Serkin would add some of his thoughts on Martin's piano works. He apologizes for depriving him of his precious time, but thought that Serkin might have some memories that would be preserved for the future.
