The Universal Edition has a letter dated 5.11 [1947], sent by the Basler Kammerorchester to [Pianohaus] Jecklin, asking for a bill for the CONCERTO GROSSO parts in the amount of 32.50 Swiss francs. In order to transfer this contribution, UE needs a receipt to present. In view of the regulations of the Swiss Clearing Office in Zurich or the Control Office for Payments to Foreign Countries in Vienna, a mutual settlement is not possible, and therefore the BK invoice of 19.6.1947 in the total amount of 1,270.75 Swiss francs was transferred directly to the orchestra, of which they were already informed on 3.6.1947 [?] All borrowing fees are to be transferred to the Swiss Representation, [Pianohaus] Jecklin.
