ContentMarie Pražanová is looking forward to the book about BM [Bohuslav Martinů : Life and Work, 1961] and reminds us that 15 October is approaching and she believes that now MŠ is taking the manuscript off his sleeve, as BM once did for SONAT C DUR. She invites MŠ to the Highlands and sends him pictures from the funeral, in which MŠ is also depicted. Isha Popelka is supposed to be putting in order the Department on BM in the Museum in Polička and so he is working on it. [František] Popelka seems to be rebelling against MP and MS.
MP draws attention to a passage in a letter dated [21] January 1957, where it is demanded that the manuscript of TWO SONGS (ČERNOŠSKÉ UKOLÉBAVKA, etc.) for voice and piano, which were lent by Karel Šebánek without confirmation to Miloš Šafránek for study, be returned. [Jan?] Löwenbach requests the manuscript back for Mrs. [Anna] Pečírk and [Geraldine] Muchová. MS is to be prepared to be asked about the manuscripts by the Museum.
MŠ is to keep the letters of Maria Martinů and Franz Martinů.
MP wonders if a burial place for BM is being considered in Prague. MP would like BM to return to the room in his birth tower in Polička. She has a key to the tower and likes it a lot, it is just a pity that there are no tours and people do not normally get to see the tower.
She wishes good luck with finishing the book on BM.
