Content and physical description
ContentRichard Klos thanks Charlotte Martinů for her letter of 29 December [1977] and answers some questions. RK asked [Karl] Knap, a copyright expert. The CHF would be happy to publish the piece, unless the contract with Bärenreiter prevents it. RK encloses a brief translation of a letter from Bärenreiter dated 14.12.1977. He thinks that if ChM could grant permission, then it would be possible to publish the compositions in Czechoslovakia and other socialist countries.
Mrs Rybková does not reply, RK will write to the Embassy in Washington to see if she is still alive.
RK does not know who ChM asked to send the sum of 5000 CZK to [Karel] Šebánek, the bank said they had not received her order. ChM has to ask the bank in writing for the money transfer.
RK wrote to [Lev] Ginsburg in Moscow about Natalia Gavrilova's book on Bohuslav Martinů, he is waiting for a reply.
[Jan] Kapusta of the Museum in Polička asked the BM Foundation for help with the erection of a monument to BM.
RK will go to Switzerland in the summer, he has to meet with [Max] Kellerhals, he has ideas about bringing BM's remains to Polička.
