Content and physical description
ContentRichard Klos writes a long letter after his return from Switzerland. [Josef] Páleníček negotiated with [Paul and Maja] Sacher about the transport of Bohuslav Martinů's remains to Polička. It seems that they have finally agreed on a solution that suits both parties. He will give details when Charlotte Martinů arrives in Prague.
ChM asked about the addition to the will dated 31.12.1975, Vieux-Moulin. Her signature should suffice.
News from SUISA. [Hans] Steinbeck was very helpful - thanks to ChM for the letter of recommendation. CHF and SUISA have agreed that SUISA represents ChM only as far as copyright is concerned - all decisions can be made by ChM alone. SUISA and CHF will cooperate on publishing contracts (e.g. with Bärenreiter 1959), they will discuss this further in Prague. They have also seen the manuscripts that ChM has submitted to SUISA - this needs to be discussed!
[Hermann] Stern said that ChM wanted to be buried in Polička. RK promises to cooperate in fulfilling her will. RK, at ChM's request (see ChM's letter to Jaroslav Mihule dated 20.2.1976 -?), asked HS about the contracts that ChM sent to SUISA about four years ago, but HS knows nothing about it.
JM and Lorenc said that ChM would go to Prague with [Joseph] Perchaud in his car. RK can meet them at the border. He is sending the French programme of the [Prague Spring] festival again, last time he probably sent the Czech one.
[Marie] Šestáková of Orbis said that ChM can sign immediately a preliminary contract concerning the publication by Dilia of a book of their memoirs, the final one will be signed in May in Prague. Everyone in Polička is looking forward to ChM's visit.
