Content and physical description
ContentVáclav Talich asks Vladimír Helfert for advice in compiling the program of a concert of compositions by Czech composers, which VT will present in Prague with the Czech Philharmonic. He plans to include Martinů's STRING QUARTET WITH ORCHESTRA, Novák's symphonic poem Toman [a forest maiden] and Dvořák's symphony [no. 6] D major. VT asks VH to recommend "a minor symphony by a Czech composer of the 18th or early 19th century", which could also be included in the program.
