Mr. George H. L. Smith

The Cleveland Orchestra

Severance Hall

11001 Euclid Avenue

Cleveland 6, Ohio

Dear Mr. Smith:

I have referred the copying of the parts of Suk’s “Legend of Dead Heroes” to our New York office for further attention. In my opinion the opinion of Associated Music Publishers in New York is not entirely correct as similar matters pertaining to countries occupied by the enemy are administered by the Custodian of Enemy Property.

I noted with pleasure that the Radio Premiere of the Martinu Symphony will be given in Severance Hall on December 19th at 8:00 P.M. On Sunday I will be out of town but I shall do my best to be back in time to attend.

With kind regards, I am

Sincerely yours,

[podpis/signature]
