Mr. Bohuslav Martinu
Darien, Connecticut
Dear Mr. Martinu,
Many thanks for your letter and the material so kindly forwarded by the Office of Information. I have also received word that the photographs are on the way.
I have one more request. Would you send us a score as soon as possible? We need two scores—one for our conductor and one for the associate conductor. If we could have one of these in the next week or two we should be very grateful. May I ask at this time about the parts? Our string requirements are 8-7-5-5-4.
Thanking you again for your help, I am,
Cordially yours,
