Content and physical description
ContentPaul Sacher saw Miss Irene Codreano in Brittany and was delighted to learn that Bohuslav Martinů had started writing again. He apologises if their letters crossed, as the BKO secretariat had written to the composer in the meantime, but the programme must be printed as soon as possible. He asks for a photograph to be sent for the programme, preferably a recent portrait in large format, they will be happy to send it back after use. They will play a double bill on 9 Feb. Is the publisher Éditions Max Eschig, or Chester Music? When might PS have material? They'd be happy for BM to write a few words about the song, as BKO has already asked him to. However, it's not urgent.
