ContentPaul Sacher responds to previous correspondence with Ernest Roth [BH 1958-02-17a]. He has already got his hands on the CONCERTANT SYMPHONY [for two orchestras]. It was published by Schott [which is why Boosey & Hawkes did not know about it]. PS sees it as impractical that there are now two works by Martinů under the same title [together with the CONCERT SYMPHONY H. 322, published by Boosey & Hawkes]. PS is still waiting to hear from [Victor] Bator.

Lieber Herr Roth,



Soeben bekomme ich die « Symphonie Concertante » von Martinu zu Gesicht. Das Werk ist bei Schott erschienen. Es ist bedauerlich, dass nun zwei Werke unter demselben Titel gedruckt vorliegen.



Von Bator warte ich auf Nachricht.
