Content and physical description
ContentMadame de Cock tells Ernst Roth about a long debate with [Joseph] Rogatchewski, director of La Monnaie, about contracts concerning [Rimsky-Korsakov's] Mozart and Salieri and Bohuslav Martinů's THE MOST OF THE MUSICAL. JR no longer wants to pay as much as before, sticking to its contract with the Société des auteurs, according to which it has to pay 6% of each performance. Other francophone theatres in Belgium are obliged to pay 8%. On the one hand this is advantageous for ALMO, on the other hand it is not, because SACD has all the rights. He describes other disadvantages of the situation.
