ContentKarla Firkušná thanks Maria Martinů for the photograph of her son [Rudolf Firkušný]. A year ago she met Bohuslav Martinů in Nice and spent a nice morning with him and RF. This year BM and RF are in Switzerland until October, then they will go to Rome. BM dedicated a new CONCERT [No. 4], "difficult but beautiful", to RF. RF wanted to reimburse KF and her daughter, whom he has not seen for ten years, for their trip to Yugoslavia. He will see if it works out.
