ContentVladimír Vaněk sends the text OPENING STUDENTS to an unknown recipient. He is always in tears when he reads it and wonders how people at home get away with it, because the jinotai are so obvious. And yet it was published by the State Publishing House and is still running. A friend wrote that the Prague teachers sang it in Písek and that he had never experienced such silence after a performance, but then suddenly there was such a storm of applause and people rushed to the stands and roared. Then they gave it in other places in South Bohemia and everywhere something like that. VV suggests publishing the full text, thus giving the home some kind of recognition. VV sends addresses of subscribers to the Harvest. Occasionally they cut someone out if they don't pay their subscription and add someone back in, it's still around 30 people. Nothing from the "Racks" [?] yet. The novel proceeds slowly, VV still has to do some business, in February the Swedes hired him to show them around Italy. Interpress in London is interested in Vanek's book on Jan Masaryk.
