Content and physical description

Content	Carl J. Vosburgh acknowledges receipt of a letter dated June 18 regarding Jascha Veissi's joint performance with the Cleveland Orchestra the following February [world premiere of B. Martinů's RHAPSODY-CONCERTO]. The original contract gave performance dates of February 19 and 20, 1953, but in fact the concerts will take place on February 19 and 21. CJV has taken the liberty of correcting the second date and is sending Thee Dispeker back one signed copy of the contract. CJV confirms the dates of the rehearsals as stated (18 and 19 February 1953).
Transcription of the letter	June 19, 1952 Mr. Thea Dispeker Artists’ Representative 35 West 53rd Street New York 19, New York Dear Mr. Dispeker: We are pleased to acknowledge your letter of June 18 regarding Jascha Veissi’s appearance with The Cleveland Orchestra in February 1953. You have the dates of our concert listed as February 19th and 20th. However, our concerts take place the evenings of the 19th and 21st. I am taking the liberty of changing the 20th to the 21st and am returning one copy to you signed on the assumption that this is satisfactory.
