Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů thanks Vladimír Vaňek for the news. At the end of May, he leaves Nice and goes back to Schönenberg, where he feels more at home, there are more tourists in Nice and it is no longer fun. He was visited by [Robert] Kratschmer, VV must have missed him in Rome. Things are going badly with BM again, his stomach is on strike, or he has eaten something bad, he is losing heavily gained pounds and has to eat porridge, which is having a bad effect on his mental life. They haven't heard the TRIO [unclear what song BM means], but they have heard GILGAMES from Monte Ceneri. After all, MIRANDOLINA was performed in Prague, BM even wrote a telegram. BM thanks VV for the intervention in UNESCO, but BM doesn't think it will make any difference, it will be arranged again. Charlotte Martinů begs VV to send the requested medicine already to Switzerland. BM is in a miserable mood.
