Content and physical description
ContentThey managed to purchase the manuscript of three small pieces by Bohuslav Martinů. The texts come from French authors. In 1929 BM gave them as a Christmas present to Šárka Pacovská, the five-year-old daughter of his friend from Polička. The compositions were sent from Paris and are accompanied by small drawings; it is still trying to establish whether these were created by BM himself. They are delighted that they have found these compositions and, more importantly, that they may have remained in the CSR. Professor Josef Páleníček, as a great expert on BM's work, offered his support in the process of authenticating the manuscript. Panton would very much like to publish these compositions in the most beautiful form possible. Panton will send a draft contract to ChM in the coming weeks.
