Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kapralová quickly sends a letter before the corrected proof of the April Preludes arrives, full of new cuts and changes. However, this was due to the carelessness of the typesetter and her father's interference. She and Bohuslav Martinů eventually agreed that it would be good if the composition were called April Preludes after all, so she would be glad if the addressee could arrange it. She had been to the concert at Triton yesterday, but she didn't like it very much. Very nice, though, was Martinů's CONCERT FOR CELLO AND ORCHESTRA, conducted by [Charles] Munch. Don Juan at the Opera, conducted and conducted by [Fritz] Zweig from Prague, was also quite well done. He should come to Paris. Is he seeing Jarka Vavrdova? She'd like to get her to Paris. She regrets that [Miloš] Šafránek left Paris, he helped them a lot with all the arrangements. She sends her regards to [Václav] Mikota.
