ContentThey thank you for the letter and as soon as they receive something from Prague they will inform him. They have received a letter from Bohuslav Martinů in New York, well arrived. On 25/4 there was a concert in Boston under the direction of S. A. Koussevitzky where BM CONCERTO GROSSO played. More detailed reports are awaited, BM wrote just after arrival to have news. He wrote that he was ill as a result of fatigue and stress. He asks that Karel Šebánek phone the Czech Philharmonic and urge a reply to the local National Society regarding the tour BM negotiated in Prague in February. They need an answer so that they can possibly arrange advertising. BM negotiated with Mr. Žid, the National Society wrote to the CF.
