Content and physical description
ContentJindřich Honzl writes to Václav Talich because he feels that he must express his gratitude to him at this time - he sees the brutal attacks VT is subjected to, that he has the courage to stand up for modern art at a time when artistic values are being attacked even by people whom the public once labeled "progressive." In particular, JH comments on Dr. J. Plavec's brutal attack on JULIA. He would like to help VT, write an article somewhere. Of course, he also said Jar. Ježek, who told him that the young musicians would speak out against Plavec publicly and together. JH assures VT that he is not alone and has friends and admirers who are grateful for his ability to stand up for real and modern art.
